Effective Aug. 24, 2022, all remaining COVID-19 travel restrictions have been lifted!
All travellers—vaccinated and unvaccinated— are permitted to enter the Cayman Islands without the need for any additional documents or health-related steps due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As of Aug. 24, travellers are no longer required to:
* Apply for a Travel Declaration or Travel Request via Travel Cayman
* Present a negative COVID-19 test
* Show proof of vaccination
* Wear masks
The well-being of our guests and staff has always been of the utmost importance, and as such, we continue to be committed to meeting and exceeding all public health recommendations with our housekeeping measures.

Travel Cayman Application Required

Persons wishing to travel to the Cayman Islands must apply via the Travel Cayman portal. The Travel Cayman portal enables travellers to specify if they have been vaccinated, whereby provisional approval can be granted.

Quarantine Lifted for Fully Vaccinated Travellers

There are no quarantine requirements for fully vaccinated travellers aged 11 or over, or unvaccinated children age 11 and younger who are assuming the vaccinated status of their adult travel companions if they are traveling from a country with vaccination rates that are 60% or higher for the first dose of the vaccine and where those travellers spent at least 14 days prior to the date of travel. These countries include the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Proof of fully vaccinated status is required.
- Unvaccinated visitors (age 12 and over) are not able to travel to the Cayman Islands at this time unless the visitor has a close tie to the Cayman Islands.
- If you are an unvaccinated Caymanian or Returning Resident, you are required to quarantine for at least 7 days.
COVID-19 Testing During Your Stay

Vaccinated travellers over the age of 5 are required to take a lateral flow rapid test on days 2, 5, and 7 of their stay.
A Rapid Antigen Testing Card will be issued by Customs Border Control upon arrival. This card will be updated by a healthcare provider whenever a test is administered.

COVID-19 Test Required 1 Day Before Travel to Cayman

Unvaccinated children age 11 and younger are permitted to travel to the Cayman Islands as they will assume the vaccination status of their adult travel companions.
Children between the ages of 5 to 11 will be required to undergo the same testing requirements as adults. Children age four and under will not be required to do any testing.
All travellers aged 5 and above, must provide a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 1 day prior to departure. Both PCR and certified rapid tests are now accepted.
The test can be taken any time the day before the departure, it is not limited to 24 hours before departure. As an example, a test can be scheduled at 8am and the flight can be at 11am the next day. “Departure” is defined by the departure of any connecting flight or transit flight to the Cayman Islands, where the layover between flights is less than twelve hours.

Health Insurance & The Cayman Islands

All inbound travellers will be required to attest to a statement that confirms that they possess health insurance which includes COVID-19 coverage, or that they understand the financial risks they are taking and that they have independent means to cover their medical costs.
As prescribed under existing Customs and Border Control legislation, the government reserves the right to require that travellers who cannot show means to support themselves during their visit provide a written guarantee from a sponsor undertaking that they (the sponsor) will be fully responsible for the costs incurred by the visitor during their stay.

COVID-19 Testing for Your Trip Home

It is the guest’s responsibility to know what COVID-19 tests are required to enter your return destination. Be cautious of the timeframe and plan for proof of a negative COVID-19 test result.
United States Entry Requirements:
As of June 12th, 2022, the CDC will no longer require air passengers traveling from a foreign country to the United States to show a negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight.

Canadian Entry Requirements:
Pre-entry tests are no longer required for fully vaccinated travellers entering Canada. Travellers must still submit their information using the ArriveCAN app within 72 hours of arrival to Canada.
Unvaccinated children ages 5 and older must provide a valid pre-entry test result, even if they are accompanying a fully vaccinated adult.
Children who are less than 5 years old are exempt of all testing requirements, regardless of their vaccination status.

UK Entry Requirements:
England has lifted all COVID-19 entry requirements!
Travellers are no longer required to take COVID-19 tests or complete forms before travelling to England. Quarantine is also no longer required upon arrival in England.
Arrivals & Transfers

Once travellers arrive at Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM) they are required to wear a face covering in all public spaces. Once you have cleared customs, there are several convenient ways to transfer to our property. We are just a short 14-minute drive away from the airport. There are several transportation options available.
Rental Cars
Most major rental companies operate just a short one-minute walk across the street from the arrivals greeting area.
Taxis
Taxis are immediately available from the arrivals greeting area on a dispatch basis.
Public Transport
Pre-booked buses are available upon prior arrangement with specific transportation companies.

Note: Masks are required by the Cayman Islands government in all public places, including the airport, taxis and public transport.
Check-in

When checking in, guests receive exclusive service with a maximum occupancy of one (1) party at the front desk. We have taken precautions to maintain social distancing and limit contact to create a seamless and comfortable experience.
- Masks are required on our property, including the front desk and the resort grounds. Masks may be removed once on the beach, if social distancing is maintained.
- Posters and signage are in all public areas to encourage social distancing.
- Plexiglass barriers are installed at the front desk for the guest’s protection, and hand sanitizer is available at the front desk and various other easily accessible locations around the property.
Housekeeping

We are meeting and exceeding national guidelines with our housekeeping measures to ensure our accommodations are cleaned and sanitized for your peace of mind.
- Housekeeping wear masks and gloves. Gloves are to be changed between every guest room.
- All housekeeping staff are required to follow a detailed cleaning checklist.
- Housekeeping cannot enter guest rooms when guests are present.
- Linens and towels are sanitized at the highest temperature setting with hospital-grade detergents. All high-touch points in guest rooms are thoroughly sanitized, including light switches, door handles, furniture surfaces, phones, remote controls, and more.
- All glassware is thoroughly washed and sanitized.
- Guest rooms are sanitized after check-out with hospital-grade electrostatic fogging machines.
The Beach & Pool

No trip to Grand Cayman would be complete without lounging poolside or soaking up the Caribbean sun on a brilliant white-sand beach. Friendly staff will closely monitor your beachfront experience so that you can let the gentle sea breeze wash your worries away.
- Masks are not required when sitting down on lounge chairs.
- Beach lounge chairs are arranged to follow social distancing protocols.
- All high-touch points are sanitized frequently.
Check-out & Departure

Checking out of the Coral Stone Club is seamless and touchless. From our family to yours, we look forward to seeing you next time!
- The Front Desk has a touchless credit card machine to facilitate contactless payments.
- Guests drop room keys in a drop box when checking out. Keys are then thoroughly sanitized.
- Front Desk can arrange for transfers to the Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM).
