DISCOVERY DAY

It’s the third Monday in May, and you know what that means: Happy Discovery Day!

For those who may not be aware, Discovery Day in the Cayman Islands commemorates the discovery of the Sister Islands of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman by Christopher Columbus in 1503.

To think that it has already been 513 years! A lot has changed – but then again, a lot hasn’t change as well.

The Cayman Islands are still magnificently beautiful, with ocean sunrises and sunsets to die for, crystal clear azure waters that boast some of the best diving and snorkeling on earth, and endless sandy beaches. We count ourselves fortunate to call Seven Mile Beach our home at Coral Stone Club, and every day we get to enjoy sunsets worth writing poetry about.

As you enjoy this wonderful holiday on Grand Cayman, take a moment to acknowledge how lucky we all are to have found this piece of paradise 🙂
